Zero Tolerance Policy

  • Any form of abuse, whether verbal, physical, or written, towards members, players, managers, coaches, parents or club officials is strictly prohibited. This applies to in-person interactions, electronic communications, and social media. Any non compliance with the club code of conduct.

⁠Definition of Abuse

  • Abuse can include, but is not limited to, shouting, insulting, threatening, harassment, defamatory statements, or any behaviour that intimidates or demeans an official.Any non compliance with the club code of conduct.

Reporting Procedures

  • Immediate Reporting: Any club member or attendee who witnesses or experiences abuse must report the incident to a club official or through the official reporting channels immediately, the club incident form is available here.

  • Documentation: The report should include the date, time, location, individuals involved, and a detailed account of the incident. Evidence such as screenshots, recordings, or witness statements should be included when available.

Disciplinary Committee

  • A disciplinary Sub committee consisting of at least two members of the executive committee and two members of the club committee will be formed to deal with disciplinary matters , appeals and any other areas deemed appropriate. This will be established as required by the Executive Committee. In cases of appeals or disciplinary matters no person can sit on any such sub-committee where they have any involvement in the disciplinary matters or appeals.

Investigation Process

  • Initial Review: Upon receiving a report, the designated committee will conduct an initial review to determine if the report warrants a full investigation.

  • Formal Investigation: If warranted, a formal investigation will be initiated, involving interviews with all parties involved and the collection of any additional evidence. This process should be completed within two weeks.

  • Confidentiality: All investigations will be conducted confidentially to protect the privacy of all individuals involved.

Disciplinary Actions

  • First Offence: An official warning will be issued to the offender.

  • Second Offence: The offender will face a temporary suspension, to be decided by the disciplinary Sub Committee , from club activities for a period determined by the severity of the abuse.

  • Third Offence: The offender will be permanently banned from all club activities .

  • Severe Cases: In cases of severe abuse, immediate suspension or expulsion may be imposed without the need for prior offences.

Appeals Process

  • Offenders have the right to appeal any disciplinary action. Appeals must be submitted in writing within one week of the disciplinary decision. An appeals committee will review the case and make a final decision within one week of receiving the appeal.
